The New ARTFreeLife
Guest Homepage
Not a conventional landing page, but an editorial threshold through which new visitors can immediately encounter the identity, quality and international vision of our project.
Created exclusively for unregistered guests, the new homepage presents ARTFreeLife as a visual and editorial experience before it is understood as a platform.
Its role is to transform a visitor’s first contact with the website into an immediate encounter with photography, authorship and the cultural direction of the project. Before reading about ARTFreeLife, visitors will be able to see what it stands for.
An Editorial Gateway, Open to the World
This new experience has been designed solely for visitors who have not yet registered with ARTFreeLife. It will allow photographers, collectors and photography enthusiasts to discover a curated selection of the most significant work published on the platform before becoming members of the community.
The homepage will be alive, regularly renewed and driven by photography itself. It will not explain the identity of ARTFreeLife from a distance: it will make that identity visible through the images, authors and editorial paths that define it.
Different Screens, One Editorial Direction
The desktop experience will privilege horizontal photographs, presented through a wide and immersive layout inspired by independent photography magazines.
On smartphones and mobile devices, vertical and square photographs will become the protagonists. They will be displayed in a format conceived specifically for the proportions and rhythm of a smaller screen.
This is not simply a technical response to different resolutions. It is a curatorial decision: every photograph should be encountered in the visual environment most suited to its form.
How Registered Authors Can View It
Because the new homepage is visible only to unregistered guests, members who are already signed in will not see it during their normal visit.
A First Encounter with Our Community
For photographers arriving from around the world, this homepage will be their first contact with ARTFreeLife: an invitation to publish their work, meet other authors and participate in the editorial selections for the ART Gallery and the Visual Museum.
It must communicate immediately that ARTFreeLife is not simply a place to upload photographs. It is an independent editorial and cultural project devoted to authorship, visual research and the recognition of individual artistic identities.
A Project That Can Grow Only Through Its Authors
ARTFreeLife wants to continue evolving as a cultural structure, an editorial project and a technological platform. To do so, it needs the participation of accomplished, thoughtful and generous photographers.
We therefore ask every member to help make the project known: share the new homepage, invite photographers whose work you respect and explain to others what we are building together.
The quality of a community begins with the quality of those who choose to join it. The more authentic authors we bring together, the more ARTFreeLife will be able to develop new tools, applications, exhibition spaces and opportunities for international visibility.
International, Independent and Genuinely Free
Our ambition is to build an international portal devoted entirely to authorial photography: independent, completely and genuinely free, and removed from the commercial mechanisms that too often reduce images to disposable content.
ARTFreeLife does not want to be merely another website where photographs are posted. It wants to be a place where photography can be observed, selected, discussed and remembered.
