The ban on Vladyslav Heraskevych’s helmet is an attempt to hide Russia's war crimes under the Olympic rings. The IOC is afraid of the truth. You cannot disqualify our memory. The world must know: the price of your "neutrality" is the lives of our athletes.
This is the price of our dignity. On this helmet are the eyes of people who should have been standing here, in the Olympic arena. But they were murdered. Today, the IOC decided that remembering them is "inappropriate." To trample on Ukrainians, who have been defending peace for all of Europe for four years—this is the highest degree of cynicism!
We will not be silenced. If these portraits are not on the helmet, they will be in our hearts and on every screen across the globe.
PS: Don't forget to support and remember the Ukrainians who are now bravely fighting a terrible evil in Europe!
