Etiopia, nella valle dell'Omo vivono più di 60 etnie tra cui gli Hamer .Il salto del toro è un rito di iniziazione dove il giovane hamer per diventare un uomo deve dare all'intero villaggio prova di abilità e coraggio.Se supera la prova del salto il giovane potra 'prendere altrimenti la moglie verrà cacciato dal villaggio.
