After months of development, testing and continuous improvements, ARTFreeLife 2.0 has reached its final structure.
The platform has been redesigned as a complete photographic ecosystem made up of interconnected sections, each with its own editorial purpose, dedicated algorithms and different image selection criteria.
The photographs displayed throughout the website will not be the same in every section. Each page will present a different editorial selection based on categories, awards, publication history, user activity and the ARTFreeLife AI editorial algorithms.
Home
The Home Page is the main showcase of ARTFreeLife and the first point of contact for both members and visitors.
The photographs displayed on the Home are automatically selected by the ARTFreeLife editorial algorithm, taking into account photographic category, editorial awards, recent publications, author activity and a balanced combination of new and established content.
The objective is to provide a constantly evolving overview of the best photography currently available on the platform.
Live
The Live section is the operational center of the community and probably the most useful page for active photographers.
Its cover highlights latest member activity, online members, site statistics and trending content. The photographs displayed in Live are selected primarily through community interaction, such as likes and comments, allowing members to directly influence the visibility of images. The Home page may also select photographs from the Live section.
At the bottom of the page, visitors will find Featured Second Chance, where older Featured photographs are periodically reintroduced, giving them the opportunity to receive new interactions and re-enter the main editorial flow.
Latest Publications
This is the chronological archive of ARTFreeLife. The first page presents the most recent publications in a simple and clean layout, while a link at the bottom provides access to the complete archive.
Featured
The Featured section contains photographs selected and awarded by the Editorial Team. Its layout has been designed to resemble the Home page while focusing exclusively on editorially selected works.
Featured photographs become eligible for selection into the most prestigious section of the website: ART Gallery. This page also includes the Featured Second Chance area dedicated to older Featured photographs.
Visual Flow
Visual Flow is the most dynamic and visually immersive section of the platform. Photographs are presented inside a continuously updated visual mosaic generated by the ARTFreeLife AI Agent. Images open instantly in fast popup windows, allowing an uninterrupted browsing experience, while a dedicated button provides direct access to the original photograph page whenever desired.
ART Gallery
ART Gallery represents the highest editorial recognition within ARTFreeLife. Its exclusive and elegant layout hosts only a limited collection of the finest photographs selected from the Featured section. Admission to ART Gallery is considered the platform's highest editorial achievement.
Visual Museum
The Visual Museum consists of two virtual exhibition rooms displaying a curated collection of photographs previously published in ART Gallery. To ensure the highest graphical quality and performance, the museum is available exclusively on desktop and laptop computers.
Magazine
The Magazine is a fully automated digital publication. Each issue is generated using photographs from ART Gallery together with editorial reviews written by the ARTFreeLife AI Agent, creating the experience of reading a professional photography magazine. Pages can be flipped naturally and every photograph remains fully clickable.
Cover Collection
The Cover Collection is a dedicated gallery of editorial-style covers automatically created using Featured photographs. Every cover is ready to download and share on social media from both desktop and mobile devices. Each design includes the ARTFreeLife logo together with the photographer's name.
Ranking
The Ranking is not intended to be a competition. Instead, it is a dynamic editorial index that evaluates photographers over the medium and short term by analysing publications, Featured selections, ART Gallery selections, author activity, consistency over time and the renewed visibility of older works.
The algorithm is continuously updated, making the Ranking highly dynamic and constantly evolving.
Author Personal Page
Every member has a personal homepage featuring a personalized cover, representative photographs, downloadable personal cover artwork, latest activity on their own photographs, activity on other photographers' works, ART Gallery publications and Ranking position for photographers within the Top 40.
This page becomes the photographer's personal editorial profile within ARTFreeLife.
Forum
The Forum is the official communication channel of the Editorial Team. Here members will find announcements, technical updates, platform news, editorial guidelines, feature presentations and useful information for the community.
Photograph Page
Each photograph has its own dedicated page including full-screen high-resolution viewing, downloadable social cover, Audience Score, voting system, likes and comments, related photographs, quick navigation to additional images, a side panel containing related works and full-screen image preview.
The Audience Score is one of the editorial indicators considered when evaluating future awards and possible promotion to higher editorial categories.
Our journey certainly
does not end here.
With the release of ARTFreeLife 2.0, the platform can now be considered substantially complete.
From this point forward, the Editorial Team will primarily focus on optimizing performance, correcting bugs and introducing small refinements based on real-world use and community feedback.
The mobile version will differ slightly from the desktop experience due to technical and usability requirements while maintaining the same philosophy and the same core functionality.
We sincerely thank every photographer who has supported us throughout these months of continuous development. Your patience, suggestions and enthusiasm have helped shape ARTFreeLife into what it is today.
ARTFreeLife will continue to evolve, with the goal of offering one of the most innovative, dynamic and visually engaging photographic communities on the web.
