The photographs displayed on the Home page are selected automatically by the ARTFreeLife editorial algorithm, which considers photographic category, editorial recognition, recent publications, author activity and a balanced combination of new and established content.

Its purpose is to provide a constantly evolving overview of some of the finest photography available across the platform.

The Live section is the operational centre of the community and probably the most useful page for active photographers.

Its cover highlights the most recent member activity, online users, website statistics and trending content. Photographs displayed in the Live section are selected primarily according to community interactions, including likes and comments, allowing members to influence image visibility directly. The Home page may also select photographs from the Live section.

At the bottom of the page, visitors will find Featured Second Chance, an area in which previously Featured photographs are periodically presented again, giving them an opportunity to receive new interactions and return to the main editorial flow.

This is ARTFreeLife’s chronological archive. The first page presents the most recent publications in a simple and clean layout, while a link at the bottom provides access to the complete archive.

Every photograph published in Latest Photos becomes a candidate for Featured while it remains among the latest 24 works analysed. Community response contributes approximately 80% of the result through votes, likes, meaningful comments and constructive participation, while comments from ARTFreeLife curators carry greater qualified weight.

The percentage displayed is a dynamic eligibility index rather than a guaranteed probability. Its current reference threshold is 83%, but it may change as the number of photographs and the overall volume of interactions evolve. Editorial ratings may also adjust the final score in order to preserve artistic quality and the identity of ARTFreeLife.

Selected Featured photographs receive greater visibility and automatically enter the Vote for ART Gallery selection. Older works may also return through Featured Second Chance, receiving renewed visibility and new opportunities for interaction.

Visual Flow is the platform’s most dynamic and visually immersive section and is reserved exclusively for registered authors. Photographs are presented within a continuously updated visual mosaic generated by the ARTFreeLife AI Agent.

Images open instantly in fast popup windows, providing an uninterrupted browsing experience in which users can comment, leave likes and quickly create customised covers.

ART Gallery represents the highest editorial recognition within ARTFreeLife. Its exclusive and elegant layout hosts a limited collection of the finest photographs from the Featured section, selected through user voting and any bonuses awarded by the editor.

Admission to ART Gallery is considered the platform’s highest editorial achievement.

The Visual Museum consists of two virtual exhibition rooms presenting a curated collection of photographs previously published in ART Gallery. To ensure the highest graphic quality and best performance, the museum is available exclusively on desktop and laptop computers.

The Cover Collection is a gallery dedicated to editorial-style covers created automatically using Featured photographs. Every cover is ready to be downloaded and shared on social media from both desktop and mobile devices. Each design includes the ARTFreeLife logo and the photographer’s name.

The Ranking is not intended as a competition. Instead, it is a dynamic editorial index that evaluates photographers over the medium and short term by analysing publications, Featured selections, ART Gallery admissions, author activity, consistency over time and the renewed visibility of older works.

The algorithm is updated continuously, making the Ranking highly dynamic and constantly evolving.

Every member has a personal homepage featuring a customised cover, representative photographs, a downloadable personal cover, the latest activity on their own photographs, interactions with other photographers’ works, ART Gallery publications and Ranking position for authors in the Top 40.

Authors can also directly retrieve their most-liked photographs, quickly shuffle the image order and use a dedicated grid to give renewed visibility to older works.

This page serves as the photographer’s personal editorial profile within ARTFreeLife.

The Forum is the official communication channel of the Editorial Team. Here, members will find announcements, technical updates, platform news, editorial guidelines, feature presentations and useful information for the community.

Every photograph has a dedicated page featuring a full-screen high-resolution view, a downloadable social-media cover, its public appreciation score, estimated views and real-time approval percentage.

The page also includes voting, likes, comments, related photographs and rapid navigation towards other images.

The public score is one of the editorial indicators considered when evaluating future recognition and possible promotion to higher editorial categories.

This page hosts the twelve most recent Featured photographs, which users can vote for through the platform’s Like system. At the bottom of the page, a real-time ranking is accompanied by a complete explanation of the calculation criteria used to determine possible publication in ART Gallery.

Only photographs that reach a percentage close to 100% may be published in ART Gallery.

The mobile experience has been redesigned and rebuilt from the ground up. In particular, the mobile Home page allows users to comment and leave likes quickly, providing smoother navigation designed specifically for mobile devices.

With the release of ARTFreeLife 2.1.1, the platform can now be considered substantially complete.

From now on, the Editorial Team will focus primarily on performance optimisation, correcting any problems and introducing smaller improvements based on real-world use and community feedback.
