Caho and Coco
Before the rose-glass window, the two entwine their hands. Whether sisters, or two faces of a single heart—only the knot of their hands knows. The light touches only their faces and fingertips; the rest sinks into the darkness of the old house. There are no words of vow; only hand confirming hand, quietly, of something between them.
