I had my first beautiful model in my studio for my special series
Everyone is Beautiful and Unique.
This photo is titled:
Samantha van der Slikke has, among other things,
the condition called Ehlner Danlos, and has extremely much skin left.
Her dream is to have this surgically removed.
I will post her personal story later this week.
I really have deep respect for Samantha she was in my studio with her husband and daughter today,
after hearing her story I only got more respect for her.
The fact that she continues to fight like this despite all the setbacks and the pain she has every day,
but she remains a happy beautiful young woman.
I know that sometimes that's the outside but you just have to be able to do it,
I know how difficult that can be sometimes.
Not to mention the fact that she exposed herself so much for me for the picture,
really deep deep respect.
Dear Samantha, promise me that you will never give up fighting and keep believing in yourself.
It was a real honor for me to be able to photograph you like this. Thank you for your trust, you are a power woman.
